My husband also snores through his nose and it doesn't matter which side he sleeps on. It is apparently heritary in his family as his father and grandfather also snored the same way. My older son may also have the same problem. My husband doesn't take it seriously. In fact it has been a running joke through the years. I still try to keep it a joke with my children, as I don't want them to worry. However, the snoring has gotten much worse recently, and I often find myself sleeping on the couch. Vacations and staying in hotel rooms has become a real problem as I can't sleep if he starts snoring (and he usually falls asleep before I do). My real concern is his health and the fact that he denies there is a problem. So, I sympathise with you. I wish I had an answer to your problem, but I am still trying to get my husband to understand that it is a problem, if not for him, then for me. I am the one who ends up sleep deprived and with a lot of the symptons of sleep apnea (I admit,I do snore, but rarely, and when I do it is a soft quiet snore). I wish you good luck. And if you find a way to get your boyfriend to admit there is a problem, please let me know how you did it. kzlawson@mindspring.com
