The socially incorrect snorer

Meet Joe Sixman.  Bit overweight, Joe, but not too much.  He and Tina have been married six years.  In the early years of their marriage, Joe snored occasionally but Tina didn’t care much.  Maybe love is deaf.  Now, his snoring bugs her.  It’s loud and rasping and seems to happen every night.  Sometimes she pushes him onto his side and that helps.  For a while anyway, then the sound starts again.  She doesn’t want to make too big a deal of it — it’s hard to talk to Joe about stuff like this — but lately she’s been looking forward to his out of town trips.  At least she’ll be able to catch up on her sleep.

Joe himself is blissfully unaware of the problem.  At least for now.  He wakes up in the morning refreshed and bounds out of bed and into the shower.  He doesn’t take Tina’s timid references to his snoring too seriously.  After all, all men snore, don’t they?

Socially Incorrect Snorers are more a menace to others than themselves.  Despite the noise they make, they are getting a good nights sleep… which may not be the case for their bed partners or roommates!
